Raised in Richmond, California, Wallah was born into a family that prided itself on bringing a communal dynamic to the field of radio broadcasting. With his grandmother, his aunt, and his mother all working at the Bay Area's quiet storm R&B staple KBLX, Wallah became immersed in music at an early age.
